The Last Day of January

To mark the last day of January I filmed a quick garden tour to show the state of the garden as it stands, as representative of the middle month of summer.   To be honest, I’m quite pleased with it, all things considered.  On a hot, bright sunny day, everything looks wonderful, if not a little heat exhausted.    Sit back and enjoy my garden like you were right beside me, having a personal tour…

Come again soon – there is still a third of summer to go!

  1. Wow, what an amazing garden. How many people do you feed with all this food? Love your blue paintwork too. I’m so inspired. I’m in Hawkes Bay and it’s also been very hot here recently. My garden is a lot smaller than yours but so satisfying. Have you grown Rampicante zucchini? I’m growing them for the first time and they’re amazing. Love their shape and taste. Thanks for your guided tours.

    • Thanks for your kind words. It is just for a family of 4 but includes ravenous teen boys! I do a lot of preserving so the harvest lasts for as much of the year as possible! I haven’t tried rampicante yet but it is on the list! : o)
